Located in Jerusalem's shopping district, near Mache Yehudah market and Ben Yehuda Street, Palatin Hotel Jerusalem offers air-conditioned rooms with free WI-Fi and free coffee and tea. The Palatin has been owned and run by the same family for the last 70 years. Its rooms are simply furnished but have all the essentials such as a TV with cable channels and a private bathroom with hairdryer. Some overlook the surrounding pedestrian area. An Israeli-style buffet breakfast is served each morning. The city’s lively Ben Yehuda Street and its numerous shops, cafés, restaurants and bars is just one block from the hotel. The Jaffa Gate and the Old City are a 15-minute walk from the hotel. The tram stops around the corner and provides connection with many of the Jerusalem’s top sights such as the Wailing Wall, the Church of the Holy Sepulcher and the Oriental Bazaar.
